Do oem cpu come with heatsink and fan?

Does a OEM cpu come with a heatsink and fan?
If not will a stock s939 amd64 3000 venice hsf work on a s939 X2 3800 toledo?
Also what would be a good but cheap aftermarket cooler and would it be worth it to get one?

no OEM CPU is jsut the CPU in perhaps a plain box or static bag, you get nothing hence the OEM title

i would get an arctic freezer (make sure its 939 compatible) with some kindof thermal compound

If you're talking about the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, then you don't have to apply compound yourself, since it's pre-applied already, with the heatpad. I have the ACF7P, and I didn't put any thermal compound on it myself, and my e6750's idling at around 30.

Nope, oem is just the cpu. The stock cooler on your 300 will work fine.
