I think i'll go with vernong's with the x1900 graphics card. It might put me a little above my budget but i think i can handle it. And another option just opened up. My friend is selling his computer for $90. 1.5 gb DDR, p4 processor, and a bad graphics card. I might buy that and put in a decent graphics card. Do you guys think that that'll hold up to what i want?

generally speaking, just don't buy from them

unless you really trust them or they are incredibly geeky, they probably are trying to jip you by selling you outdated and crappy parts

E2140 since my friend has a 2140 and he cant really bring it up past 2.74 (well I really can't since i'm the one overclocking for him

There are two stepping of E2140, L2 and M0

I think your friend has the L2 stepping

But the newer M0 stepping are monster in overclocking
