maybe I can push this thing wayyy further. ram is probably about 26C, and my cpu is (get ready for it because I am not) OOH lol, 44C idle! oh wait, im folding, nevermind. lets stop folding and see my idle then. ...................38C......35C.....33C.......idles 33C, lol

wait i seen it pop a 29C and go back up

then go for it, check online to see what terminal velocity is for your proccesor and what the maximum operating temperature is, stay a bit clear of it and not borderline since problems can happen

my physics teacher would kill you for saying terminal velocity...

lol.....

3.0GHZ!!! im happy...back to 2.4 i go, after this horrendus beep that came deep within the dwellings of my pc, that sent the lights flickering inside the pc, and my kb lighs flashing in order...eeh creepy, no wonder I christened it the "Blue Demon"

Validating the cvf file now, untill then here is a text dump I managed to get.

uhh....HAHAHAHAH WTF HAHAH HAHA DOESNT EXPLAIN, HAHAH LOOK AT THIS....

DMI Processor
-------------
manufacturer AMD
model AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3600+
clock speed 2940.0MHz
FSB speed 38.0MHz
multiplier 77.5x

wtf?

ok i guess I will try the html dump

much better.

Core Speed 3004.7 MHz
Multiplier x Bus speed 10.0 x 300.5 MHz
HT Link speed 600.9 MHz
Stock frequency 2000 MHz

and here is the validator....whoo am I glad it did not get corrupted

haha yay 3.0ghz....and I thought it was impossible (remembering the horrid beep...shudders)

EDIT:

some more stuff from the cpuz file

yep...292 was max boot, but from what I hear, this board alone can handle like 400ht....lol

ill try that later, maybe...

like lower my multi to 5 and set the ht to 350 and see if it boots, the ram would be at almost ddr2-800 speeds, would have to really losen my timings, and probably up the voltage...but before I can do that, I must invest in one of these.

yeah i need a chipset fan for my 590 sli mobo(its loud). whoops cogratulations evga the first pciex card sits right on top of it.
whats the point of running 350 x 5?
my evga runs 320 x 9.5.
theres no way in h eee double hockey sticks you can run at 400 anywhere close to stock multi.
