I would suggest these parts:
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (320-P2-E811-AR)
You don't need the 640mb version of the 8800GTS. It has been proven, to only give such a small increase in performance. And we're talking about 1-5 extra frames in games, which is barely noticeable.

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK)

Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
The Striker Extreme is overpriced, in my opinion. Get the P5K Deluxe instead. It's well suited for the Q6600.

Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)
You need a more powerful cooler than the AC Freezer 7 Pro, to cool the Q6600, if you were to overclock.

if im not mistaken he has bought these parts lready. only asking about the psu

Yeah, looks good. The power supply is good enough, but I hear theres a voltage ripple. I'm sure others will have alternative suggestions

Build looks good, You could save cash without performance loss though:

-go with the 320MB 8800GTS, it performs just as well unless you play new games at over 1600x1200 resoluton

-Striker Extreme is a good Mobo but waaaay pricey, the eVGA 680i Mobo is less prone to being annoying, better yet the P35 chipset (e.g. the GA-p35-DS3R) is just as fast and 1/3 of the price. Plus more futureproof.

i thought the ocz would be ok since the silverstone more expensive. only because wasnt sure about how it compares to aus dollars for his budget lol. other if u can afford it silver stone is the way to go. make really great psu's.

but agreed if u can get it. the corsair 520hx is really good. wasnt sure if u were only buying from that site.

He should be able to afford it, since he bought the 640mb and Striker Extreme.

Thanks for the advice but forgot to say in the future i'm gonna buy another card and SLI them so the power supply i buy has to be up to the job.
