Monitor calibration

Does anyone know of any good free software for calibrating monitors or websites? I just realized my monitor has been way too bright and my eyes are really starting to feel it now.

You should be able to turn down the brightness in the on screen display. Look for a menu button. I actually have mine set to 0 brightness and its STILL too friggin bright.

Either that or you may have some settings you can adjust for your video card. Or get one of those glare screens that go in front of it.

Your graphics card driver should be able to manipulate that! You can Adjust from there.

Yea I know that but there are some more advanced ways to do it because sometimes its hard to go by what your eyes are telling you. What do you guys have for your contrast, brightness, and gamma just so I have a foundation to work with cause my eyes are so messed up right now.
