I'm looking at three variations on video cards...

GeForce FX 5600 128M ($65)

GeForce FX 5700 128M ($95)
faster clock but less memory

GeForce FX 5700LE 256M ($120)
slower clock but 256M memory

Let me know if there is another card out there for less than 120 that would be better. (I like nVidia better than ATI)

Not bad prices, infact better than paying $65 for a 9600se when you can get a 5600 for that price.

I say, go for the 5700 128mb ($95) out of the three.

No. Why would he want to have 256 megs of VRAM when all but one game actually takes advantage of it, and the 5700LE wouldn't be able to keep up with Farcry, either way, so, in conclusion, don't listen to GameGURU, because common sense, as well as the combination of faster clock and less (but faster) RAM always beating a slower clock and 256 megs of slow RAM anyday.

yes i play games a lot but not the best ones out there...is there another card that would be better or did i do my h/w well?
