New sound card not working

I just got done with my build and put my new sound card in
its the sound blaster audigy 4

Im not sure if i followed the right steps since ive never had a sound card installed before.

I just put the cd in and installed everything...after rebooting i got some errors but everything got installed.
It shows as working on audio devices but no sound. The volume metter goes up and down when music is playing but i cant hear anything.

Their was sound before installing it..but now nothing...any help please?

Uninstall those drivers. Use new drivers from the website or reinstall. Report errors here.

There should be an option for it under Add/Remove Programs.

im uninstalling the creative drivers now, but its taking SOOOOO long.

add/remove programs only adds/removes programs, it doesn't uninstall devices
