Hi all, I need some advice here!

I start Uni in 3 weeks, and I want to change my course but I;m not sure what I want to do.

Things that I think I would like would be networking and fixing or repairing computers professionally.

Does anyone know any Uni courses that offer this?

I've searched my uni site http://http://northumbria.ac.uk/ but couldnt find any courses that would relate to these kind of jobs.. or maybe im just not looking hard enough.

Can anyone give me some good ideas on good career paths to go for and whats in demand?

thanks

In the US I'd say 95% of public colleges offer these majors. I guess you're in the UK so I don't know.

What course were you going to do?

I start Uni in September and am doing a Bsc Hons degree in Computing. That covers a wide range of subjects including networking and programming. Maybe it would be worth doing something like that?

well im not at uni but im at college in UK and ive just started BTECH ND IT PRACTITIONERS LVL 3 (after doing level 2, lvl 3 is a 2 year @ A-level standard) and today was my first day back and its surprisingly pretty advanced comapred to lvl 2. We already learnt maintaing hardware n pc's and networking all teh basic **** and this year is even covers learning JS C++ and how hardware works longside software and how torepair faults. Maybe there is a Uni level equivalent.
