I dont want to buy an 8800GTS without officla G92 specs, and pricing. After then I will decide what card to buy.

Would 2 7900GS outperform a single 8800GTS?

I believe they'll be on par but 8 series has dx10.

Im just thinking, if it would help perform better, because the GTS is only 1 card.

Also for SLi it says my mobo runs it at 8x each, does that mean cards will be running slower than if I just had one?

if you are going to get 2 320's why not just pick up a single GTX.

If it is at all slower with 8X bandwith, it'll be barely noticable.

I think 7900 cards will probably use roughly the bandwith of 1.5 to 2 PCI-E lanes. the 8800's use roughly the bandwith of about 3 PCI-E lanes. Possibly 3.5 for GTX's and Ultra's

Ok, well I might do SLI with the 7900's depedning on pricing of G92, adn the 8800GTS

yeah my sli 7900gs are about even with an 8800gts minus direct x 10.
if the 8800 is heavily overclocked it would probably outperform the SLI.
