2.8C vs. 2.8E P4 GAMING PROC

hey guyz i am really close to buying one of these processors and i would like your guyz advice on whick one is better for GAMING purposes 2.8C or 2.8E thx

The E's are known to overheat alot.. kinda like the prescotts compared to the northwoods

or even better buy a amd for cheaper and itll give better in game performance. ( not meaning to start a amd vs intel debate)

anyhting under the 3200+ amd's compared to a 2.8 ghz intel will not be better...

yes but when they doubled the chache they doubled the latency so there about the same

2.8E is the prescott which is slower then the 2.8C and more expensive I think. get the 2.8C
