I believe it fit his requirements:

around $160

And it fit the other requirement he seemed to have:
Overkill


Its "open box" is why its so cheap. It goes for about 330 bucks otherwise.

Its far more than required.
Its a TT (he can get better for the money)
And its open box. Not really something you want.. At least with power supplies. (argueable)

But, I regress, ITS FAR MORE THAN REQUIRED....

wow... I might get that... although I plan on lanning some and the added weight won't be a blessing... however open box is fine with me as long as it works (15 day warranty there) and I've dealt with mwave before with no problems...

the one that b1gapl looks nice and I think I've seen that at microcenter... however, I have another related question... would a modular PSU in the 600 watt range cost more then the 120-50 that it already does?

i recommend this though not in your price range.

if it can power 2 2900XT then its pretty much for enough for anything.

thanks for the suggestion, but since most ppl here say i won't be need 700+ for SLI, I don't see a reason to 700+ heh, dual 88 gts' seems like it would last a good bit of time before requring an upgrade anyways

hmm yeah, it does look great, and an amazing price, even if its open box... modular 1.2k... but why would I ever need 1200 watts? Who does need 1200 watts!? (I'm not insulting you or anything, just asking a question heh)

I might actually consider that though...
