how long i can leave it on for?

Hi, I just got a new hp laptop and i was wondering how long i can leave it on for? I have the battery thing plugged in with the charger, and my screen saver comes on and then it just goes black eventually but how long can i leave it on for without causing internal or external damage?

As long as you dont have it stuffed in a bag theres no reason why you cant leave a laptop running off of AC power for as long as you want.

Well they do heat up...try getting one of those antec fans.
I bought one for my gf and it works pretty good.
Keep things cool longer...

just set the screen to turn off every 30 mins and you'll be fine
