I haven't heard much of ABIT around Tech-Forums. So I got pretty interested when aspire.comptech showed my his ABIT motherboard. What motherboards from ABIT, could be compared to the P35-DS3R, P5K, P5B?

dang.. .phuncg... u post a lot nowadays...

but anyways... abit is really good... but i usually recommend them for AMD builds.. but the were really common.. the AWD9-MAX was a popular one before the p35 chipset.. cuz it supported both SLi and crossfire with hacked drivers

Oh, yeah. But then all the posts are usually about builds and stuff. Gets boring, you know?

Well, I was just wondering. Not too many ABIT builds I see out there.

the abit aw9d-max was a fair bit more than $180 If i remember correctly I paid something like 220 for it.

hmm what features does it have that the DS3R doesnt?
btw the open box DS3R is only $99

Between the P35-DS3R and AW9D-MAX? Well the AW9D-MAX, has two PCIe slots. But it is the 975x chipset.

Between the P35-DS3R and IP35-PRO, it seems that the IP35 PRO has more RAID options and eSATA ports. But the P35-DS3R has two more SATA ports.

any PI35 mobo's are nice.

i've used the low end one on my uncles computer and using it again for another build friday. i love it :D
