I like the build.. a few months ago. But now that Barcelona is comming out, I would gladdly go qwith true quad core any day of Intel's cheap remdition of quad.. which is two duos on 2 dies..

I regret buying intel so close to AMD one-upping on Intel. Just hold off for another month. Prices will be competitive I'm sure, plus the proc's will be true quad core

umm the intel penryn are coming too with new dual-core and quad-core 45nm architecture and the fact these 45nm chips apparently run 10C or so cooler that means OC time!!!

Which is better evga 8800 ultra or xfx 8800 ultra?

I know they're the same but which has an advantage? Customer support,design,etc.

I see more people buying the xfx 8800 ultra

i bought my ultra from XFX..same warranty as EVGA

and it came with Lost Planet for free

i've got it at 685/2300 right now and its completely stable no artifacts or anything.

yeah fan is at 100% with a case fan blowing into it...i tried 700/2400 but i got a bit of artifacts so i bumped it down to the stock XXX version settings.
