Weird Drive: WDC WD1200JB-00GVC0 & problems loading cd/dvd drive

I have been having some trouble getting my cd drive to read disks. So I decided to check out the properties of my cd/dvd drive in my computer. Under the hardware tab I found this drive, i checked out its properties and its not enabled, it is also found in the device manager under "disk drive"

I have tried resetting the properties for my cd/dvd drive to point to the correct path, however it will not let me apply any of the changes.

Can someone help me fix this? I have tried unistalling it from the device manager, however when i rebooted the computer, it turned up with "found new hardware"

Is this even related to the problem i am having with my cd/dvd drive, or is that completely separate, either way...can someone please help fix these two problems?

Wow, we missed one.

That is the model of a hard drive. Does it happen to be yours? If not, what is the model number of yours.
What is the model number of the disk drive in question?
What problems are you having?
When did it start happening? What did you change when it happened?
The is the specs of the rest of the computer?

I believe its your ATAPI-driver If you have nero installed you could try to uninstall it and see if it sorts things out.
