it uses less watts, but since the electricity is crammed into a smaller space, thanks to some higher level physics we know, that no one know where electrons are and that they can escape. If they are pumped through a smaller space, the odds of them escaping are a whole lot higher, and when they escape they produce heat.

Well, i think it uses more watts. This article about Prescotts shows it using alot more than the Northwood.
