I'm with TRDCorolla1. I usually buy whatever gives me the best performance at the lowest cost. I have an AMD Athlon X2 5000+ in my desktop and an AMD Turion TL-56 in my laptop. Before that, my old desktop had an AMD Athlon XP 2000+. I'm not a fanboy, just a cheapskate .
And I'm skeptical of the article. I would like to see some kind of proof. Making such a claim and then saying the proof was lost doesn't exactly make it fact. I have a feeling Intel will continue to be on top for years to come.
