AMD's 3GHz K10 to break 30,000 3DMark06

I'm with TRDCorolla1. I usually buy whatever gives me the best performance at the lowest cost. I have an AMD Athlon X2 5000+ in my desktop and an AMD Turion TL-56 in my laptop. Before that, my old desktop had an AMD Athlon XP 2000+. I'm not a fanboy, just a cheapskate .

And I'm skeptical of the article. I would like to see some kind of proof. Making such a claim and then saying the proof was lost doesn't exactly make it fact. I have a feeling Intel will continue to be on top for years to come.

The funny thing is that there are people out there that are AMD fanboys, yet, purchase an Intel Core 2 Quad lol simply because AMD doesn't have a true quad core yet (or do they now?). True AMD users would NEVER buy Intel no matter what.

That's why I'm not like that.

Lol, I know quite a few on the other forums and they go on and on and on and on and on.....it gets tiring to hear them argue. Both companies are good and as long as there are compeition, they will keep pushing better products.
