New Monitor Issue

I just upgraded to a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW and I have been having some problems watching movies, Picture wise. Like i would put in a DVD and it would play, but its not as good as it was on my old monitor. Every part of the picture is fuzzy, and i know that it can not be the DVD or the video files because if i play it on one of my other computers they seem to work fine. Is it possible that my graphics card can not handle that high of a screen resolution? Went from 1024 x 768 --> 1680 x 1050

My computer specs:
Amd 4400+ X2
ATI X850XT
Kingston HyperX 512x2

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Try turning down your resolution before watching the movie. Probably to about 1024 x 768 ;D

i agree turning down the resolution should do the trick.

Thanks for the feedback. I turned down the res. a bit and it made somewhat of an improvement but its still there. Should i try upgrading my graphics card, or memory and see if that would do the trick? been in need of an upgrade there for quite a while anyways.
