7900 Gs Or 8600 Gt????

well i really need help on my new gfx.
ppl here helped me and said either 7900 gs or 8600 gt but now i am stuck on which one to buy
i am thinkin live with that card for like 4-5 years.also i dont play games at ultra quality, maybe like high quality or somewhere like that.
so which one?

i didnt actually mean exactly 4-5 years
i mean use them for a long time
but one Q.

that 8600 gt has dx10 and looks something good (the gfx)
but that 7900 gs has dx9c and looks kinda crap

so i am a little scared that it'll screw up less than a year or so.

The problem with the 8600GT, is that it's not a worthy card to be playing DX10 with. So the 7900GS is better.
