Who would vote for the GeForce FX 5200? Even if you are an Nvidia supporter, the 5200 is the lowest end popular GeForce card on the market right now besides the GeForce4 MX. The ATI Radeon 9600 is a mid-range card, capable of running todays games at medium to high graphic settings. ATI 9600 totally blows the FX5200 to pieces.

FX5200 and Radeon9600 are different level of card, how to choose like this??? Sure 9600 beat 5200.
At least u put FX5200 VS RADEON9200 or FX5600 VS RADEON 9600.

WHY DID YOU PUTT HOSE TWO?!?! WTF WERE YA THINKIN MAN!!! the equivilant to a 9600 pro is like a geforce 5600 or 5700 in my opinon the 5600 would lose and the 5700 would win

the FX5950 Ultra is equivalent to the 9800 XT
FX5700 is equivalent to the 9600 XT
FX5600 is equivalent to the 9600 pro
FX5200 is equivalent to the 9200 pro
FX5200 is not equivalent to the 9600 pro

I learned that the 5200 ultra outperforms the 9600 SE although the 9600 pro performs better than it, so the XT will be equivalent to the higher end card which would be the 5600/5700

Wrong,... well for some part...
5700 Ultra = 9600xt
5700 = 9600 Pro
5600 < 9600 Pro
5500 = 9600

ATI Cards are better.

they last longer that nVidia and they are more durrable.

I have a ATI 9700 Pro in my computer and it runs great. teh only problem is that some games operate better with the 2 different brands.

Take the Metal of Honor series. that sometimes lags a bit just because that game was designed for nVidia cards.

But why would you get a 9600? if i were you i would save up a little more and get a 9800 pro from http://www.newegg.com. its only like 210 bux (US).

its a good deal for a good card.

Ummm...no...ATI has just gotten good within a year. Nvidia has always been way better.
