dang i didnt know the 1950xtx was that much moolah.
can i run those benches on my free version of 3dm06? then you will have a coparison of my overclocked 7900gs' in sli.

nope I don't think so...

I get 6455 in 3dmark06 though with my CPU at 2.8ghz and RAM at 400mhz

Wow heres my stock 8800GTS 640MB score.... didnt clock it. Ill try clocking it after I get off work tonight and see what the score is.

Fill Rate - Single Texturing 5136.566 MTexels/s
Fill Rate - Multi Texturing 12093.311 MTexels/s

Perlin Noise (SM 3.0) 99.296 FPS

interesting...biggest difference is in Complex vertex shader test which makes sense :) I bet overclocked it will destroy me completely.

But shouldn't the X1950XTX win easily? Or is it that the 7900GT, was heavily overclocked?
The G71 at 650MHZ and above puts one big fight against X1000 cards

This reminds me, I got a 7900 GT to 750MHZ with a Zalman VF900 and a voltmod. I made a voltmod guide for it.
unfortunately at the time I only had a Sempron 2800+ to go with it.

But now I have an 8800 GTS 320MB at 620MHZ, and a 6000+ which can reach 3.5GHZ
I've scored over 10,000 points in 3dmark06 with this system.

Cool....I was debating getting another 7900GT and going SLI but I have an EVGA KO superclocked which are a bit harder to find....I figure if I just sell my 7900GT and get a 2900XT or 8800GTS i'll be happy. 7900GT ko's are going for close to 100 quid on ebay here so I'm happy about that...and mine has a vf900 and is a **** good clocker so that's a good selling point (its stock voltage as well)

Yeah I was looking to voltmod mine to bump it up .05 or so and see what it could do, but the KO superclocked have different PCB's and I don't want to ruin it's resale value, or break it as it's almost 2 years old now.
