Just curious what others are scoring?

This is my 7900GT @ 675/910...and was surprised that it outperformed a stock x1950xtx in these synthetic benchmarks.

so is a 7900gt, my friend. i wish i had two of those instead of my GS' (i still love them). probably would go well over 10K in 3dM06.
was the x1950xtx overclcoked?

But shouldn't the X1950XTX win easily? Or is it that the 7900GT, was heavily overclocked?

i dont really know man. im not much of a card fanatic...i know both those cards are friggin awesome and fast. you know sora would know better but dont see him around too much. it is still summer and sunny outside tho lol.
i would think that with a good overclock it would beat the (overclocked) 7900gt pretty easily, yes. stock, i dont know how much difference, but i would still assume the ati on top.

Yea....according to the graphic rankings thread, that Sora posted, the X1950XTX is 9 ranks ahead of the 7900GT 512MB. Stocked.

The x1950xtx is stock....if it was overclocked then yes it would beat my overclocked 7900GT.

No one is arguing which is a more powerful card, but price/performance the 7900GT wins IMO.

One reason for this thread is that I'd like to see results of different overclocked cards (including x1950 series).

Also 8800GTS vs HD2900XT as I'm debating over which one to choose...with the latest drivers its looking like the 2900xt might be good for the price when it's overclocked.

Agreed. The XTX is still around $400. So the 7900GT wins the price/performance ratio.

My X1950PRO can't overclock worth a you know what. But it's good enough card at stock speeds.

i'm going to run my 7900GT at nvidia reference speeds to see what it scores out of curiosity

dang i didnt know the 1950xtx was that much moolah.
can i run those benches on my free version of 3dm06? then you will have a coparison of my overclocked 7900gs' in sli.
