Default Why SLI is never worth it

1: The next generation card is usually stronger then two of the previous generation cards ( look at benchmarks comparing SLI 7900s to 1 8800 GTX )

2. The amount of heat generated by the 2 cards is dentrimental to their health as well as their overclocking potential

3. Less then 50% performance gain

4. Newer generation cards usually have far better effiency and architecture

5. Save money on non-SLI mobos

6. The new 8 series cards are too huge and current mobos seem inable to properly SLI them ( theres so little clearance between them! )

7. SLI uses more power costing you more money
