hey I was wondering would I be able to upgrade to an AM2 system for about $200? and have it be as fast or faster then what I have now? If so could you maybe find me some parts? I have no idea what to look for in a motherboard and I would need a CPU... dual core prolly? and then I think I would prolly need some new ram also right?

Try selling your motherboard, CPU, and memory. To help fund the upgrade, along with the $200. For $200 though, you can get an X2 3600+, Biostar TF7025 motherboard, and a gig of DDR2-800 RAM.
