EVGA 8600 GTS 512 MB Reviews

who has any... i need me a nice card to use to hold off for a bit.. and i just bought one... lol kinda late to ask for a review.. but it seems to be 7900gt-ish.. something like that.. anyone wanna help clarify this for me?

Should of went with the 8800GTS 320mb. It's just a little more. The 8600GTS in my opinion, is an OK card.

ya agreed... but i didnt feel like spending another 100 some odd dollars at the moment.. and if i were to go back to a gts.. i would get a 640.... i just want this for a short while....

i wanna be able to play cs source again.. without lagging in hdr areas.... (which i am with this 6800 vanilla)

The 8800GTS 320mb, is only like $30-50 more. But the 8600GTS is more than enough, for CSS.

actually its like 70-100 dollars more for the 320mb 8800gts.. this is only 200 dollars.... and if i do buy an 8800gts.. it will not be the 320mb... i don't think i'd buy an 8800gts again period....

i'm only buying this to hold me off until i get my q6600, 680i, and 2nd gig of ram... then after that, i'll probably buy me an 8800gtx or ultra or something like that... i have someone helping me with the funds.. so i don't mind spending the extra 50-100 for an ultra later down the road
