Question about PSU 24 ATX pin power connector

So yeah I'm looking at my Corsair 620 HX series and 23 of the pins all have golden connector thingies inside except 1 is completely blank. No wire going to it or anything its completely blank. I looked at the instructions and apparently this is the -5V pin ( not ground or +12V or anything like that )...so I was wondering...is there not supposed to be anything there!?!?

Yes, there should be something there. Check for a single loose wire. I checked the specs and it seems that -5V is gone. I think it is unused now. The ATX v2.2 revision specification doesn't mention a -5V anymore. (page 20)

hmm interesting I guess ill call them to make sure. The forum doesn't have many ppl like you around anymore peter...

btw I checked all the wires, theres 23 coming out of the thing ( I counted ) no sight of the 24th wire anywhere...

Newegg's pic, doesn't show it either. So it's probably nothing to worry about.
