disk read error after installing windows

any ideas? trying to boot from hard drive and gettting a disk read error after trying to install windows

I had the same problem. Seems you need to repair your Windows.

Reinsert your Windows OS CD and go to the repair option.

I cant get XP or Vista to install. XP gets me disk read errors everytime i restart after install. Vista will not allow me to find my HD. It keeps saying it needs drivers, but cannot find them on the MOBO disk.
