Both are very well suited for the Q6600. It's just a matter of budget and features. I got the P35-DS3R for my Q6600, but if I had the money, I would of gone for the P5K Deluxe.

There aren't any instructions on how to apply MX-1 to a quad core but there is for AS5, i'm guessing it is the same procedure for both kinds..

Get the 8800GTS 320mb instead. 640mb has been proven to only give about 1-5 frames more, in games.

really? I figured i might as well upgrade since i'm saving money on other parts but thanks for informing me!

Yea....Just save $100 by going with the 320mb, and upgrade to the 9 series later on.

Yea I was planning on doing that. I just need to get a sata2 cable and a ide cable and I should have everything I need to make the computer run right?
