Costco $100 Off HP a6157c-b 22"W E4400 2.00GHz 2GB DDR2 320GB HDD

The ram is pc-5300

You have two options: try to make an identical one for less, or try to make a better one for less.

Remember, it comes with the drive reader, Vista, monitor, tv tuner, wireless desktop, and much more. The software isn't nessesary but the hardware seems to be for a bargain. I just can't think of a better build for $899. Try to make this the same intel build, but AMD builds are also welcome.

Also, is that system faster at gaming than my machine? I doubt it since it have integrated graphics.

amd build would be better because it gives more headroom for a video card

Ugh, i was gonna try, but then i decided that im entirely too lazy. For a prebuilt machine its not bad considering that it has vista and a 22" lcd.

And the wireless desktop, the tv tuner, the 13-in-1 card reader, the lightscribe drive, etc. It's actually a good bang for your buck machine.

The real question comes down to how much of that extra crap are you really going to use. If you cut out some of the frills that most likely will never be touched you can get some higher end components.

thats nice... and that g945 isn't much of an overclocker.. get an msi p6n sli-fi with that e4500... btw at stock speeds the e4500 beats the e6320 and e6300 (if all 3 are at stock) plus that e4x00 series are mad overclockers... (but what core 2 duo isn't ... heh..)

No tv tuner, but hey: I LOVE YOU UA_IRON. You did the build on a very tight budget. I couldn't do one better myself.
