building first comp . . . is this ok?

time isnt really an issue. it takes like 45 minutes to assemble a computer

no im incredibly slow (and get distracted very well)

once, taking a math test, my mind got distracted by a scene on the football field . . . sooner or later, i found myself with 4 minutes left and 14 problems to do

hahah . . .


anyways; about the whole prescott and northwood thing . . . would the cache size really matter? cause northwoods have 512kb, while prescott have 1mb

northwoods at 3 ghz are better than prescotts. the bigger cache actually hinders the processor at 3 ghz speeds. if you want to hold out for when the 3.6 ghz proccessors come out you can get one of those, a prescott, cheap.

nah i think a 3ghz w/ ht would cut it for me . . .
