Why do you want the most expensive motherboard?

A 1KW power supply? Highly unnecessary. Even the power supply, vernong suggested, can power that system easily.

You're still set on 4 Raptors? Why?

Why the 640mb still?

Why that $300 SATA controller? The motherboard can support RAID.

I bet you that the cheaper build I posted, will perform just as well.

A 1KW power supply, will not make the computer faster.

The most expensive motherboard will not make a computer faster. Reviews have proven this.

The 640mb is not that much faster than a 320mb, for $100 more. Double the memory, is not double the performance. Bad trade-off.

RAID is not significantly faster. A few hundred dollars for a few less seconds of load time?

Basically you're spending a ton of money, that will only be marginally faster than the build I posted earlier.

Have you noticed that what we're trying to say will save you A LOT of money and help you perform just as well?

correct.. a 1k PSU doesn't increase performance, all it give more juice ti the system

MasterCheifElmo, you're killing me. That motherboard is unnecessary. You want to know why? An expensive motherboard, doesn't make anything work faster. 8800GTS 640MB doesn't make anything faster. It's only a 1% performance increase. Getting the 320MB is cheaper and you'll be able to surpass the 640MB if you overclock it. RAM's, Crucial Ballistix. Cheaper, more reliable, better in performance. Antec TruePower 1000W? Are you seriously kidding me? You're kidding me right? Please tell me you are. Only a really smart person would get this. I'm kidding around, no they wouldn't even because they will know how much AMP, yes AMP's not Watts, they need to power up their whole system. I don't know about everything else but then are you new to water-cooling? If you are, I wouldn't suggest you to get water-cooling. Even if you think you did everything right, there will always be something wrong. Just remember this, putting a crap load of money into a system and getting all the expensive parts will not give you any increase in performance.
