Upgrading grpahics card

Soon I will be upgrading my old ATI Radeon 9550 to a ATI X1650 PRO. Is this the correct procedure?

1 - Uninstall the drivers from device manage
2 - Uninstall the Catalyst control centre
3 -Turn off PC
4 - Remove old card
5 - Install new card
6 - Turn on PC and install drivers from CD
7 - Look for updates on the net

So is that how it's done?

Yes, the procedure is correct. You can also update your drivers with the driver CD if it came with your x1650 pro.

Installing drivers from the CD is not necessary, when the website, has the latest drivers. The CD almost never, comes with the latest drivers.
