are you guys sure about the RAM the Patriot RAM i havve listed is 1066 i would assume its faster then crucials 800 RAM also can anyone direct me to Tuniq benchmarks or comparisons

I have the Crucials, and from personal experience, they overclock straight to DDR2-1200 speeds.

Crucial Ballistix is a good performance RAM at a great price.

and i'd ditch that Raptor and just get two WD 750GB's and Raid them

Is configuring Raid easy? never done it before also

It's not that complicated. The basic steps are:

-Making the RAID driver diskette.
-Install the hard drives, to be RAIDed.
-Go into the BIOS and setup the RAID array that you want.
-Set the boot sequence, to have the computer boot off CD.
-Save settings, restart, and insert OS CD.
-At the blue screen during the Windows installation, look at the bottom. They will ask for 3rd party RAID drivers, and press enter.
-Insert the floppy RAID driver disk, and follow instructions.
-Then proceed to complete the OS installation.

The first is 1066 but has higher latency not really sure which to purchase

You don't need the tracers, because they just have pretty lights added. The regular Ballistix is $20 cheaper, plus a $30 rebate.

Get the DDR2-800, because they will easily overclock to DDR2-1200.
