Quick question for the pro's. Been watching some DVDs in the .avi format, and they are all saying right around 699mb, for filesize. Now when I rip one of my DVD's to my hard drive, I use DVD Decrypter which makes them into .vob's and the file size is like 7gb and all split up,,, is there a way just to copy one of my own dvds to my hard drive as 1 file size, being an avi or divx or whatever... Using one program thats kind of quick? Or how do I do this? Without converting every vob and merging them into one AVI... lol Input would be great thanks.

I use a very simple program called FairUse Wizard. It rips straight from DVD, into one single movie file.

use autogk or windvdcopy. they are the best. autogk is free. get an older version as they stripped some feature out of the latest ones to stay out of trouble

nice,, im gonna try out autogk,,, i just tried fairuse, it crash's in vista sometimes.. also i dont like the output quality... its weird and hard to change.
