VNC remote network connection problem

I am trying to connect VNC server remotely by a VNC client. I can login into the remote server but CTRL+ALT+DEL key doesn't work, any help would be appreceated.

what OS does the computer your connecting to run. If its a windows OS you can try ctrl+shift+esc or right click the taskbar to get into task manager.

Both are windows OS, XP and 2003 server, ctrl+shift+esc is not working. nothing happens with that

what about with the right click on the taskbar? Also what VNC client are you using?
