What makes the GIGABYTE P-35 DS3R so Great?

I have seen that this motherboard seems to be the one that is most promoted in these forums. I really don't know much about motherboards, and I am trying to maybe build a new computer. Why does everyone recommend this board so highly. Why not recommend the GIGABYTE GA-P35 DQ6 LGA 775 INTEL P35 ATX. Is it simply the price factor?

Its cheap and is a mighty overclocker. It also has an assorted range of features that are nice. It also has Ultra Durable 2 and Ultra Cooling.

it supports the new 45nm processors, the P35 chipset OC's great, and its fairly cheap

The board connectors are all in great locations and it has a 6-phase power supply.

I am looking at the board, and I really value what everyone says on this forum, but it appears the board does not support firewire. What board would you recommend if you want firewire connections?
