yea I think it's like.. raid0 is using 2 drives where both are written and read from at the same time.. So everything is done twice as fast.

But its not.......if you read the article you'll see that the real world performance over single drives is usually less than a 5% advantage, virtually nil

RAID0 was a great idea at the time of it's conception. Now....RAID0 is just a bad idea. It's is no way, cost effective nor performance efficient. Especally with a simple home PC. No reason whatsoever to set it up.
