Alright this is what i got:

And if thats right, i just saved 90 bucks over the last build! Thanks sooo much guys, youve really helped me alot.
 
From a little googling, some 680i boards such as that EVGA 680i, will support the 45nm processors, with a BIOS update. But it's still pricey, compared to the cheaper P35-DS3Rs, that natively support the 1333FSB and 45nm processors.
 
For the Q6600, the stock cooler will do fine, if you don't overclock. But if you do, then it's recommended to get an aftermarket cooler. I'd suggest the Tuniq.
