ATI Radeon 9800 Pro or nVidia GeForce FX5900XT?

p4 2.8c GHZ HT & Radeon 9600 XT = 340.00 US

ALOT better performance then:

p4 3.2ghz HT & (previous card) geforce mx440 = $280.00(cpu alone)

9700pro.. although I dont see many people with that card, could be cmpatability issues or soemthing.. but from a performance point of view, 9700pro beats 9600 xt by a bit..

Thing is I do not know anyhting about the 9700 pro.. 9600XT though, thats a great card.. considered to be "midrange" now, I think its better then midrange.. DEFINITLY worth the 150-160.00 US.. NO other card matches the 9600XT for its price.

Well, actually, I can get the 9800PRO and 3.0GHZ for a price that can be paid for most likely... That'd be nice, now to just make sure i can get them

Problems with 6800 Ultra:

- Price
- Power Requirements
It needs a pretty darn good power supply to run properly with common ammounts of components.

My bro has a 9700 Pro and it ain't any different from the 9800 Pro except the 9800 Pro can get you 800 points more in 3Dmark03.
