Vista 32bit or 64bit? I am a gamer and that is really all I use my PC for other than msn and that sort of thing. Which version would I be better off going with?

Yes...32-bit will do fine for you. You would go with 64-bit, if you had more than 2GB of RAM, which you don't. Plus 64-bit has less support for drivers and software, compared to 32-bit.
64 bit is fine but you need to make sure all the stuff you need has support for it beforehand.. I'm using it and I don't run into any important incompatibilities.. On the other hand 64 bit is a lot more secure and improves performance..
Get XP unless you just HAVE to have those bubbly-glossy window themes or if you just have to get DX10 or if the applications you require need Vista. Wait until they fix all the problems before jumping into something you don't really need yet.
