Should i overclock ?

Should i over clock my cpu ? i watched a review on someone overclocking the exact same proccessor i have pentium d 940 3.2ghz they got it to 4.4ghz !!!

So will overclocking kill my the hardware quicker ? i want this system to last atleast 3 years i guess...

Don't worry about the CPU's lifespan. Their average lifespan, is about 10 years. Go ahead and overclock that thing.

Well i just checked the bios & at the moment the cpu is clocked @ 200mhz & the highest i can set it to is 234mhz so how many mhz should i increase it by ?

Try 210 first. Stress it. If all goes well....215. Stress it. If a clock doesn't go well, you can up the voltage on the vcore, one notch. This depends on your temperatures as well. If the load temperature, gets higher than 55c whiile stressing, it's a good idea to stop right there.

Ok thanks but i cant see vcore anywere in the bios ?
