I'm considering getting the Crucial Ballistix's for my new rig and will definitely want to OC them (hopefully atleast to 1000mhz) and was wondering the easiness of OC'ing this ram....i've heard theres been some issues with overheating etc, and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this for me before i buy, thanks.

Oh, and this is all in an antec 900, dunno if that matter for cooling, etc... thanks.

I have the Crucial Ballistix, and they should really be called Magicstix. They can easily go to DDR2-1200 CAS5, DDR2-1000 CAS4, and even stock speed at CAS3. They don't overheat. As long as you have good airflow in your case, you don't have to worry. The best part...I only paid $80 for them.

They are very level...I would say the Ballistix is better stuff but it also costs more....i would just get whichever is cheaper...ballistix or HZ's

At the moment, Crucials are only $109.99 with a $30 rebate, compared to the HZs at $129.99.....from newegg.
