Trying to understand the FSB:RAM concept.

In my bios I overclock by raising the FSB that is tied to a multiplier of 11. If i raise the FSB from 200 to 228 how would this affect the ram if it is not overclocked? So far I have been able to overclock the cpu from 2.2ghz to 2.5ghz without touching the ram, but I would like to set up a FSB:RAM ratio to be able to push the cpu futher.

Would raising the FSB ratio by 33 and lowering the ram to 333mhz even out any potential problems?
