I would reccomend a falcon northwest fragbook. They are like what alienware used to be before dell took them over (or what I heard alienware was like anyway)

On a budget I wouldn't go with the fragbook DRX since that one is more or less a desktop that fits on your lap.

Dude, stop being stupid. You can get a Falcon for his budget. Period. If you have something worth posting, go ahead. But don't waste forum space by trying to be funny, when its not.

As for the original poster, I would say Toshiba, Dell, then HP, in that order.
