Why didn't somebody explain it like this at the beginning? I was thinking the same thing: 4=4. Now I understand the difference. I'm not educated enough to know if it equals a performance difference, but now I see the physical difference. Thanks.

Nah! you should see a thread in off topic we had awhile back. started about wikipedia and went waaaaaaaaaay down hill from there. Ended up with spamming flash animated laughing cats, ugh i hate those things.

anyways... my current plan is to buy an fx-80 and use it with an evga 690 or that foxconn board (forgot its name) that or regular phenom x4 if thats too pricey....
