Man, my current CPU still has an unlocked multi. 2500+ Barton Mobile + A7N8X. Used to be a winning combo.

you can raise the multiplier on the fx-62 as well as lower it (you can lower it on all am2 cpus).
its supposed to be a baaaad boy overclocker.

do u know if the FX (quad-cores) use socket AM2? cuz i'd luv the bragging rights of an EE processor

I think the Phenom FXs are only for the Socket F. Well I read that one of them can be used on AM2+, which then is backwards compatible with AM2.
