Alright, so I just seated my HDD on the 3.5 Bay instead of the HDD bay because I wanted my 120mm fan to have a good airflow. I was just wondering what happens if I seated my HDD in the 3.5 Bay? Will it get overheated due to not being cooled down by the intake fan? Should I even put it there? Or should I move it back to the HDD Bay?

I have computers with hard drives by the fan as well as hard drives completely away from the fan. I would say that having the hard drive away from the fan won't impact it harmfully in any way. Unless you live somewhere that is terribly hot.

I had my secondary HDD sitting in a 3.5" bay for about a year without having a fan on it before I gave it to my brother and it is still running just fine (HDD is now about 18 months old).

Hard drives perform better when warmer, B1g could tell you the optimal temp I'm sure. As long as it's not a raptor drive or you try to cool your CPU with it you will be fine.
