Windows update is now starting to **** me off it won't allow me to install these updates

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB917283)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB922770)
Update Rollup 2 for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 (KB900325)
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0: x86 (KB928416)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.0 Service Pack 3 (KB930494)

the main issue is NET framework 1.1 as I need to install framework 1 to update to xp MCE 2 I have not been able to install net framework for months now I tried when I first built the computer. I have tried windows update, a burnt cd and downloaded off of Windows software website manually every month or two and hasn't worked gggrrrrr

windows update won't allow you install? a bit odd....

what kind of error or message do you get that doesn't allow you to?

Try installing the updates without going thru Windows Update.

As I said I have tried manual updates with no success

Then the only option you ahve is to either do a repair install and see if that will allow you to do the updates or format.

Have you tried to use the AutoPatcher.com

They have XP updates from SP2 all the way up to July. Try that out.
