Why all this multi-core buisness with no multi-threading? I understand it helps multi-task, but we need some multi-threaded apps for some serious performance.

Oh, BTW. Ordered the stuff. 1548.48 with tax and shipping.

I think you meant hyper-threading. It's a thing of the past, and is not needed with multi-core processors. I could be wrong.

Nah, programming the program to take advantage of the dual processors. Most programs aren't, and thus only use one core at a time.

Pretty soon, software will all be multi-threaded. Crysis takes advantage of the quad core, I believe.

Ugh, why does my CPU have to ship from CA. I live 20 miles from their NJ warehouse, and the CPU is shipping from CA. ! Oh well, it ships 3 day select so it'll still be here this week.
