That tutorial will be very helpfull in my first experience with OC. Does any one knows how much can I get from my P4 2.8 Prescott with air cooling? Just to have a basis of comparison.

Are you using the stock heatsink, on that P4? If so, you won't get very far. Also depends on the temperature.

No, I'm using a Zalman, I don't remember the name exactly but I think it is a 7200 Cu, I'm not sure about the 7200.

I don't know the temperatures exactly, I don't know any program to monitor the temperature on linux, but back in days when I was using windows I remember that the temperatures were around 45ºC.

hmm..you have a little headroom there. I'd say 3.0GHz at least.
